Time is running out for the marooned Legionnaires while the rest of the team scours the universe trying to find them.
Story 1:
The Legion Espionage Squad find themselves stranded on a frozen planetoid close to the Khund homeworld. The Legion of Super-Heroes send nearly all their members to find the missing Legionnaires and help them get back to Earth. Eventually, they are found by Dawnstar and Light Lass. The pair arrive in time to see Timber Wolf embracing Saturn Girl and Light Lass has doubts about Timber Wolf's feelings.
Story 2: Once Upon An Insanity
Brainiac 5 and Element Lad arrive in the psychiatric facility holding Matter-Eater Lad. Brainiac 5 intends to cure Matter-Eater Lad's mental malady and restore him to his sanity.
